I am a music marketing specialist, writer, and musician living in the irreverent San Francisco Bay Area. As a recent graduate of the University of Oregon, I maintain concentrations in music, journalism, and social justice beats. In April of 2024, I defended my undergraduate thesis dissertation written on the dominance of hegemonic patriarchy in the rock and roll industry.
Music is everything. On Fridays from 12-2pm on KWVA 88.1 FM, I host a weekly radio show called the “Road to Nowhere” under the alias of Penny Lame where I play classic rock b-sides. I also play guitar for GrrlBand, an all-female five-piece rock outfit.
When I have free time, I enjoy collecting records, running, writing, and making friends.
